DIY; step-by-step plan for your fridge conversion

At home, lay the boards with mitred edges against each other, so that with a little adhesive in between, you can easily secure the boards in place. Let this dry completely (half an hour to an hour depending on the glue) and glue the 'lid' on top.
Then use a sandpaper to sand the edges, they can be very sharp!
And then the base of your column is ready. You may need to fill the gaps a little more, and then you can put on the first coat of paint. This way, the surround will certainly match your kitchen.
