Michiel made this extendable instruction himself from custom-cut plywood. By cleverly using various parts from both IKEA and TOSIZE.be, he created a practical and delightful outdoor kitchen.

Kitchen block and storage drawer for our Campooz folding trailer. Both drawers mounted on drawer slides. This way, we can easily access our kitchen and all the gear.

How I Made This Project

Everything was custom ordered in waterproof 15mm plywood, delivered neatly packaged. The cabinets were then quickly assembled. Everything screwed, filled, primed, and painted twice. For installing the drawers on the front, I used Ikea EXCEPTIONELL drawers, low and medium, with push-open built-in.

The bamboo countertop is also from Ikea (TOLKEN Worktop), cut with a 56-tooth 190mm blade. It worked perfectly, no splinters. The cutting board is also bamboo Ikea LAMPLIG, which had to be slightly shortened to fit the width of the kitchen block. The drawer slides are suitable for a load of 200kg, length 1,300mm - with open/close locking.
