In this DIY project, Gertjan shows how he has made his older trailer look like new. For this, he ordered custom-cut anti-slip concrete plywood online. This makes projects a lot easier, and you can start right away.

Description by Gertjan

The cladding of our trailer was very rotten, so I measured everything, ordered new sheets cut to size, dismantled the old ones, and installed the new cladding, sealing it afterwards.

How I Made This Project

First, I measured all the sheets, floor panel, and side walls, and ordered new ones to the correct size. The floor was 15mm, which I replaced with 18mm concrete plywood (I found the total length of the trailer with minimal support to be too thin) and then glued it down with MS polymer adhesive and secured it with carriage bolts (instead of screws). The walls were 12mm white concrete plywood, ordered this way again for weight reasons, and also glued down with polymer adhesive and secured with carriage bolts. All edges were sealed (inside and outside), and then the hinges and locks were reinstalled.
