Rosalie designed a cabinet via the 3D configurator on the website, tailored to fit her wall perfectly. She took into account the desk she wanted to add to the left side of the cabinet. For the desk, she ordered separate sheet material and attached it to the cabinet herself.

How I Completed This Project

The package arrived as a DIY kit, and Rosalie and her friend immediately started assembling it.

I'm genuinely so excited about this concept! On the website, you can customize your made-to-measure cabinet with the configurator. Doors, shelves, compartments, etc. You receive a blueprint with a concise manual (super easy). All beams and posts are named. Hinges, dowels, wall mounting, everything is included and perfectly pre-drilled and cut to size. I think we spent about 3 hours assembling the cabinet in total.

After assembly, she primed the cabinet and then treated it with two coats of lime paint. She used the color 'Camille' from the brand Betonlook, which complements the wall painted in 'Subtile Stone' by Flexa beautifully. She attached small handles to the doors to prevent shiny spots from the push-to-open system. The handles are a wonderfully stylish addition and are from Zara Home.
